Leo C Mitchell III began his landscaping journey in his hometown of Tullahoma, Tennessee in 2013. Between then and now, Leo has gained extensive lawn care, irrigation and hardscaping experience. Leo met Jordan Mitchell (previously Bussell) in July of 2013, and they were inseparable from then on. He and Jordan moved to Colorado in 2014, where they spent eight years. They got engaged in 2016, got married in 2018, then bought and sold two homes, and welcomed their first son, Leo C Mitchell IV in 2020 while living in Colorado. Leo worked for a few different large landscaping companies in Colorado, and it was there that he realized he was truly passionate about the work he was doing. It was his passion for the industry, the customers, and his fellow employees that allowed him to quickly move up in ranks with each company he was a part of. In 2022, just before Leo IV turned two, they and their three dogs returned home to Tullahoma, Tennessee. Leo started Mitchell Outdoor Living LLC in April of 2022, with just a truck and a dump trailer. He quickly realized that what most people needed in and around Tullahoma was lawncare, due to the overwhelming amount of grass! He was able to successfully take over lawncare for his dad’s clients when he moved out of state. He streamlined the process, digitized things, and overall made every client’s life much easier in the process. His first summer was very busy, and then he was able to slow down some in November of 2022 when he and Jordan welcomed their second son, Orion, into the mix. Winter was a slow season, but he did have some irrigation, hardscaping and holiday light jobs that first winter. Things really ramped up in March of 2023 with the next busy season beginning. He has loved being a business owner and being able to oversee every little detail of each job! For Leo, the happiness and satisfaction of his clients are of upmost importance. He works tirelessly to ensure that the work he does is the very best. He studies and practices constantly and never stops learning. He is trustworthy, compassionate, honest, and very hardworking. He will always go the extra mile to do things the right way and bring your vision to life!
